Christmas is in 13 days!
Every Christmas eve, my family gets together to celebrate the holidays. SInce we have a small picture taking session by the Christmas tree, we like to dress up and pretend that we’re living the “Gossip Girl” lifestyle.

I usually attend the parties in red or emerald green, but this year I want to celebrate in different fashion: White Christmas theme.

Thanksgiving this year came earlier than last year. You know what that means? Target is staring their Black Friday deals earlier this year! Stores will be opened to the customers starting from 9pm on Thanksgiving night until 12am! Usually the biggest Black Friday deals are on laptops, tablets, desktops, and other electronic devices. But at Target, you can find the best deals on toys, kitchen & home, and the perfect outfit for upcoming holiday parties!

Hate waking up in the middle of the night to go shopping? This year, you can sleep peacefully on Black Friday by shopping at Target. Want to know more about Target’s Black Friday deals? Check out this ad and see the preview of the sales here to save and beat the crowd during rush hours!

Customers are able to shop the Black Friday sale online here, beginning Thanksgiving Day and through November 24th (Saturday). Shop the in store sales beginning midnight and through 1 p.m. November 23rd (Friday) and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on November 24th (Saturday).

My favorite winter item: Socks

Picking out an outfit that can go from morning to night is a challenge during this cold season. And it is even difficult to be creative and stay warm at the same time. During the fall/winter, I like to show my fun sense of style through… a pair of socks! They are perfect for layering over your tights or leggings while staying warm and comfortable.

As seen at Mulberry Spring/Summer 2012 RTW, try channeling your socks with a pair of heels (you can take the socks off at night to dress up). You can also control how casual you want to look by the type of shoes and socks you wear.

My favorite type of socks to layer over my tights are fun ankle socks and simple knee high socks. To channel your own fun socks for this cold season, check out Happy Socks, and if you are looking for something simple, American Apparel has lots of simple socks you can sport this fall/winter.

Played by Michelle Williams in My Week With Marilyn, Marilyn’s style is something that every woman should emulate with at least one outfit or during a period of their lifetime. Showing off her beautiful curves while maintaining class was something that every woman should do. She showed off her body and was proud of every inch of it. Follow Marilyn’s lead by wearing modern high-waist pants, skirts, and shorts and pair them with a classic button-up or a form fitting bra top. Another way we can take Mailyn’s lead? Confidence. Fashion in Movies: Skyfall

There’s more to James Bond than doing lots of difficult stunts and hanging out with beautiful women. As an iconic figure, Bond isn’t Bond without the clothes.

Although Bond’s stylish wardrobe in “Skyfall” do not really reflect Daniel Craig’s personal style, the actor said. “Bond’s style is very important to me, and I’m a huge believer that the look and feel, a lot of that has to do with the clothes people wear”. “Skyfall” Costume designer Jany Temime collaborated with the designer Tom Ford to create suits that moved with Craig to give a new look. The suits are indestructible and exceptionally well made. Tom Ford’s impeccable suit gave Bond a successful image with a touch of 2012.

Just like “Skyfall” collaborated with Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani for “The Dark Knight” and Rodarte for “Black Swan”, you can spot many fashion designers in movies. Who are your favorite designers in your favorite movies?

Here’s another style blogger whose blog truly helped me with my own style and blog. I was searching for style tips and ideas and I came across mensstylepro. I was not familiar with the dos and don’ts of men’s fashion, however his sense of style paved the way for me. I enjoy the fact that he stays true to his own style as well as try new things. I also appreciate that he collaborates with a lot of fashion brands and he does giveaways for his readers and followers. Fashion and beauty bloggers are literally EVERYWHERE. So-long searching through store catalogs to see what the latest trends and styles are. I find these two blogs a necessity for my upkeep in style & beauty.

Lara from The Glossarie and Christina from Oh So Glam are two fabulous bloggers out there in the blogosphere that I check daily. What I love about both of these girls is how they keep me coming back for more! They both update frequently and feature a wide range of products, outfit posts, sale alerts, and who doesn’t love an occasional giveaway?

For me, I have champagne taste with a beer budget, so I love that both blogs feature a wide variety of items that don’t always break the budget I try and have!

Lana Del Rey for H&M

There may be no celebrity that I have a bigger girl crush on right now than Lana Del Rey. Her amazing retro style makes me want to teeze my hair to its maximum height, wing out my eyeliner past my eyebrows, and put on my favorite red lipstick. Did I forget to mention her amazing vocals and album that has been on repeat on my iPod for weeks?

Besides all that (yeah, there’s more), Lana Del Rey is the face of H&M’s Winter ‘12 collection. Filled with peplum tops, puffy jackets, and printed pants, this collection is simply perfect. Lana Del Rey is perfect for this retro-packed line that has us dreaming of Old-Hollywood and vintage cars racing through LA. Well, and a fashionable winter.

My favorite celebrity style, hands down, is the lovely, fierce and unique Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s baby sister). She has really built her name and brand around her individuality as well as her daringness and boldness with styles, colors and patterns.

Her personality is definitely expressed in her style and music revealing a refreshing, daring, fun and quirky young lady. I believe this is what makes her “Celebrity style icon” worthy, because she is not ashamed to have, take risk and be herself.
